The bakery/confectionery is delicious. I love it. The butter croissants are delicious. I go back every week. €1.50, well worth the price for their high quality. Everything is handmade and freshly made. I'm very happy.

It is a unique and true ARTISAN pastry shop, Mr. Ernesto is very professional, he knows how to advise and his pastry deserves 5 or more stars....100% advisable......

The apple pie, the croissants, the French toast, and everything else are delicious. I love it because they're made with eggs, milk, sand, etc., all by hand, not with powder like everywhere else.

A very authentic place that has stood the test of time in the center of Alicante. They're all about friendliness here. And everything I've tried is delicious, both sweet and savory. The empanadas are worth repeating every day.

I've been a customer of La Colmena Confectionery for many years. A family business for over 50 years. They make their products daily, which is why I often go there at the last minute and they have almost nothing left. An artisan bakery, the kind that no longer exists. Alicante is invaded by fake bakeries whose quality is nothing compared to a bakery like La Colmena. Keep it up.

Like every year, for the past 12 years since we moved to Alicante, we've been able to enjoy the best roscón in Alicante by far, even though we've tried it from several places, including supermarkets, and many would love to have a roscón with that quality and flavor. It's a true pleasure and privilege to shop at La Colmena year-round. Let's not forget their puff pastry, which is one of the best I've ever eaten (if not the best). They've always treated us very well, and it's a pleasure to shop there for the quality of the products and the friendly service. The Roscón de Reyes from La Colmena is extraordinary!!!!!!! The best roscón I've ever tasted!! I'd heard about this bakery, but I never imagined everything they make was so good. I just had to try the roscón, and last night my family, friends, and I all agreed. We had the best Christmas present: the pleasure of eating a completely artisanal, natural product made with great care. I also want to highlight the friendly service at this bakery. I feel at home every time I go, where they advise me on every product I buy, and I feel satisfied because I'm taking home a good dessert or snack for my family, because ultimately, we are the ones who eat. It's a shame to read comments like the one above, where they value industrial pastries more than artisanal and completely natural ones. It's clear they're not used to eating good things and value the price more. Ultimately, if what you eat is wonderful, you don't remember the price. In the long run, eating artisan products is the best way to go. The people who have been to this bakery completely agree with me and know what it means to buy a quality product.
